The 'perfect energy source'

Fusion is one of the most promising alternative energies, says professor Steven Cowley. Safe and with no radioactive waste or greenhouse gases emitted, fusion could fill the gap left by traditional power sources. But it's very hard to achieve, he says, requiring a device that runs at ten times the temperature of the Sun.
